Abstract

This study examined teachers’ instructional adaptability and learner academic performance in selected public elementary schools in Cardona, Rizal and translated the findings into a proposed community-service framework. A descriptive-evaluative design assessed Pedagogical Flexibility, Content Modification, Technological Agility, and Socio-emotional Responsiveness. Teachers demonstrated a very high overall level of instructional adaptability, while learner performance was interpreted as very satisfactory. All adaptability dimensions showed significant positive relationships with learner performance, with Socio-emotional Responsiveness showing the strongest association. Based on these findings, a community-service framework emphasizing teacher capacity building, adaptive instructional support, socio-emotional responsiveness, stakeholder participation, and school-based monitoring is proposed to strengthen responsive teaching practices.
