Improving the Effective Use of International Financial and Credit Resources for Development

Abstract


This study examines mechanisms for improving the effective use of international financial and credit resources in developing economies. It focuses on resources provided by international financial institutions, including the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank. Using a qualitative approach based on secondary sources, policy reports, academic literature, and comparative analysis, the study identifies major challenges in resource utilization, including weak governance, limited institutional capacity, poor coordination, and corruption. Stronger transparency measures, capacity building, strategic investment planning, and monitoring systems can improve fund allocation and project implementation. The study emphasizes the importance of aligning international financing with national development priorities to increase long-term impact.
